Florida man was very concerned about loss of freedoms from any sort of Covid precautions. He’s now exercising those freedoms in the ER.

Well, I do read you pretty often, and you've had a lot to share about California. I assume California is a vast, well populated state with a widely diverse population.

We don't assume the same thing about Florida.

I want to get out as much as the next native born Floridian - I love my state, but the stupid that has moved here totally swamps the intelligent and sensitive and caring people who live here.

This guy lives in Florida for 12 days, and now this is funny because he is now a Florida man. Would it be as funny if he'd gotten sick "Up North", before he moved there. We do see "California Man" or "Kansas Woman" in the descriptors here on the HCAs, and quite a few people who lived here.

This just struck me as unfair because he admits he isn't an actual Florida person, not yet.

Anyway, point taken. I know better, really I do. Just felt a bit punchy today, I guess.
