Meet Steve. He’s a real peach. And diabetic to boot. I have a feeling he’s going to collect his award soon.

Serious question here. I have lifelong uncontrolled type 1 diabetes no fault of my own and I do everything I can with diet and exercise but it's terrible to manage. I got two vaccines Pfizer in April. I stay in my home and I haven't interacted with anyone in 19 months except for one Doctor friend walk outside and it made her wear two legitimate 95 masks and I wore two plus a coffee filter and the mask is widely available for the public and niosh approved with an approved distributor. No fakes for me. Anyway I'm very disciplined and I turned vegan Whole Foods plant-based. My A1C sucks / 8. I could lose about 10 pounds which I'm working on. Are you seeing high-risk people like me with type 1 diabetes dying even if they've been vaccinated? When they talk about the percentage of people dying are they me? If anyone can share true data or anecdotal experiences. They never evaluated the effectiveness of Pfizer for us so I really don't know if I'm at risk or not if I had to interface with medical personnel or others for an emergency. Otherwise it's another day at The Truman Show for me
