FNAF2 could be a bit better.

When I first saw the game when it came out, I thought it was really rushed. I don't know if anyone will agree to this but, I actually have a small list of problems when FNAF 2 came out:

The Gameplay is my main problem for now. Unlike the first game, it places you in a lit up room where you can actually be comfortable with. But in my opinion, it ruins the scary atmosphere. The goal is the same as the first game: prevent the animatronics from killing you. Check the cameras, find the animatronics, when they get in, put on your mask. It gets you really hyped up. But then the stupid music box comes along and ruins your fun. This is my main problem with the game. In the first game, you actually have time to look around the cameras without anything distracting you. You're limited to look around the cameras now because most of the time you just wind the music box instead of actually trying to find the animatronics. Which probably makes it the hardest game especially with 20+ animatronics. It's too hard to actually be scary. - This is why Scott should have worked more on the game, he could remove some of the characters (the toys mainly, sans BB and The Puppet) since they don't reallly help that much with the lore) and just simply make the main four animatronics scarier. The Puppet's mechanic should be different considering how annoying it is as you have said. But another problem here is BB, he's the least creepiest character in the game and is simply a nuisence (fuck spelling) to people, Scott should give him a jumpscare or something like everybody else.

The Jumpscares are another thing. In FNAF2, the jumpscares look like laggy GIFs. Most of the time, it's covered by the monitor, camera, or the table. And in rare occasions, they just don't work at all. It happens too fast that you can't see most of the animation. And it looks like a still image being zoomed in front of your face. In FNAF1, the jumpscare animations are merged with the office background and the screen shakes so it can actually work. Foxy's jumpscare in FNAF2 can sometimes clip through the wall which can be confusing than scary. The jumpscares are just uncreative. I don't even think Toy Freddy's animation can count as a jumpscare. - Toy Freddy's jumpscare is adorable! But on the other hand, have to agree with you on this topic, the jumpscares are terrible, especially Mangle's which isn't even scary, and as you said the first game has the screen shaking and everything and the jumpscares come clean out of nowhere (Freddy's power on one at least) which is why they are scary.

This is just a minor one; the restaurant doesn't make sense. Where's the kitchen? Why is there a long hallway leading directly to the security guard's office? I know Scott didn't really care about the place looked since it's just a game but, sometimes the minor details just get to me. - More proof that the game ain't real, probably just a dream. (not saying that the other games are dreams/nightmares, but this game is way too unrealistic)

Another minor thing, the graphics. I know FNAF1 didn't really have that tremendous graphics. But it's just a downgrade. The office looks a bit distorted, and the animatronics can look like paper sometimes. It all just look very cartoonish. - One of the main reasons why I hate the game, this effectively makes the game less scary and more fake as a result.

Sorry if I got things wrong here.
