Female draft (US)

No. Women should not be drafted.

That doubles the draft pool and could potentially lead to more civilians being drafted than necessary. If the U.S. decides to just draft all eligible in a war, then there would [hypothetically] be no young adults left behind to care for the country.

However, my argument isn't meant to be gender specific. It doesn't matter which gender gets drafted. But we shouldn't encourage a government to force people to go to war. Not more than needed. And no matter if we win or lose, we will always need people to stay behind to take care of the kids and domestic, etc. and that wouldn't happen if the majority of the country is shipped off to war.
