Something I haven't seen shared on the rumorsphere at the time she left: so we all know JYP is this huge born again Christian now, right? He even gave Bible sermons recently at I think the Philippines. That he's an obnoxious narcissist is another matter but that doesn't make him less Christian.

Anyways, the speculation is that because of his faith, JYP sets super strict standards for his artists' personal conduct. Even what the average person might consider no big deal, JYP might. This could've contributed to Jinni's getting the boot.

For sure I think she was fired, but made to look like a mutual decision to help her save face. No different than when normal companies fire someone but publicly state they voluntarily resigned to help them save face.
