Despite Backlash, Diablo Immortal Is Making A Million Dollars A Day

I mean, if you really want to deep dive into how gambling reaches into everyday lives, then even Pokemon cards can be seen as lootboxes and people love that shit.

Let's take a step back and compared a pack of pokemon cards versus a virtual lootbox roll in a mobile game.

1) Both have a pool of 'items' guaranteed to be inside.

2) Both have a special rarer item with a much lower rarity within.

3) The 'quality' of the items within the pack/loot box is unknown to the user opening.

Should Pokemon cards or trading cards in general require a 18+ age check before the counter is allowed to sell?

Also, funny enough Diablo used to be a franchise that had a M ESRB rating. Unrelated but just throwing it out there.
