AITA for wearing a dress when I didn’t do a good job shaving?

Coming from a Mediterranean background myself, my dad always used to “Veet” my hair growing up and made me shave or wax my legs. It’s weird, but it’s really normalised from where we’re from.

I would always wear sneakers with my dresses and forget to shave parts of my legs because I was lazy tbh. They grow out so fast. You’re NTA and your Dad is only acting out of tradition, wanting to make sure his family looks presentable in front of others, which isn’t excusable but it isn’t as weird as westerns say it is - aka, your Dad isn’t a “creep”.

If you’re insecure with your hair, when you’re older you can look into treatments like laser but if not, be you! It’s all natural. As for your dress sense, again - be you. Your Dad will love you regardless, you’re still 15 so he thinks he can have his say but you’re only at the start of your transition into your own style and I wish you only the best !
