The knicks deserve isola

If every fucking fan is going to constantly get amped up and act like the knicks are just one FA away from the finals, someone needs to actually tell people how it is:

• one of the most toxic FA cultures in all of professional sports, not just the nba
• exceedingly controlling media department means that since the 1990s, pr hacks sit in on all interviews, and the team has a list of reporters (and players) banned from MSG.
• the team is shit and will be shit for at least another 2-8 years. Every Knick fan will say they'll be in the ECF next year, and shit on isola for writing an article pointing out the roster is basically an aging Carmelo Anthony, a stagnating KP (he seriously fouls like he only JUST got out of the draft this year) and 13 guys who could be playing for the d league any other night
• there is no coaching of consequence happening and there hasn't been any coaching since Mike D'antoni left, if you could even call that coaching
• if you're getting amped up for ron baker you're fucking deluded
• kp6 will probably take the rookie option but leave once his contract is done because honestly why would anyone stay
• the lease on the actual land below MSG expires in 2023. NYC council has said they're not interested in a renewal, and Dolan says he won't move the team. I expect this team to be playing in East Rutherford by 2025.
