Free Talk Friday

I'm all for people owning guns. But there has to be a point where, "It's for my own protection!!!!" doesn't cut it anymore. I've had friends say that and they are always the types to want to pull out their guns to solve their problems.

I can't link to proof because I respect their privacy, but there was an instance where one group of my friends got upset at a party. They left the party, came back with more people, and then started a brawl on the street. Before the rest of the frat boys came out, they peeled out of the parking lot. Luckily, one of the guys in the truck decided not to pull out his shotgun.

Another time I was just cruising around with friends. We were going onto the highway and one of my friend's friends got cut off. When we got off at our next stop, he said, "She's lucky I left my gun in the other car or else I would've shot her."

As I said previously, I am all for people who want to own guns. I am 100% for people owning firearms if they can keep it safely at home. But you are not a responsible gun owner if you're whipping your gun out whenever someone gets slightly aggravated with you.
