Freefolk is triggered that people with different opinions than them exist.

Looks like it's time for an analogy:

Let's say you've got a dad. For the first year of your life, your dad was great! Second year, awesome. Heck the third year was the best of your life, fourth year is more of the same. Good dadding all around.

Fifth year, I dunno, it's okay. Your dad doesn't make as much sense as he used to. Sixth year, less sense, but he does some cool stuff? Seventh year, what the heck, he can hardly string words together? He's seeing old family for the first time in half his life and he can only say "this is good soup?"

The eighth year of your life, boy that was tough. Very dark, he kept saying the same things over and over again. Then he just leaves, you never see him again. Every one that knew him said he had a few more years in him if he just paid more attention to the details, you know?

So sure, it's a sad story. Shouldn't pretend it's not. Whether you're r/freefolk and you just can't move on because you're so angry about how it turned out, or you're r/naath and it's just blind positivity and denial/acceptance about how your good ol dad measures up.
