Future of AVAX

It's the best chain i've seen that even comes close to truely realizing the potential of crypto, but i'm trying to keep an open mind. ETH transactions are still crazy, and L2 just hasn't materialized in a meaningful way... yet. Maybe in a few years ETH l2's will be giving AVAX a decent run for it's money, but until then AVAX is winning the race as far as i'm concerned.

I'm REALLY interested in NEAR, that is a totally different approach... and has potential. But AVAX is further along.

Polygon just built supernets. They might be a ripoff of subnets with some bonus zk rollups or something. I'm not super familiar with them, but it's on my radar. The best technology doesn't always win (that's why you probably had a VHS tape instead of a BetaMax tape) and Polygon has a lot of traction. So it's possible they might pull ahead even if AVAX seems to have a technically better team.

Solona is obviously still beating AVAX in market cap, and ecosystem. But it bothers me how much downtime it has. They made some trade-offs, and I don't think their chain is better off for it.

Polkadot is weird, I just don't get the 20 parachain limit... but i'm not the right guy to talk to the differences. I researched it briefly, and I just came away more steadfast in my confidence in AVAX.

Cosmos is my #2. I REALLY like some of the projects in their ecosystem, there's a lot of real innovation not seen anywhere else. It's also why I can't just completely sign off Solona. Akash for example is a critical piece of infrastructure I haven't seen anywhere else. But if you want to control it via smart contract, you need to use solona.

I'm bullish on AVAX (I bought more after the price crashed), watching the crab subnet suceed for example demonstrates the theory behind it is valid. The comunity is still active, and still building even post-crash.
