Men who have used steroids, what negatives have they had on your body? Were there any unexpected positives? And are they actually bad for you?

One of my closest female friends started a cycle about a year ago and here are a few things I observed:

*She would have mood swings within hours of each other. We could have breakfast and everything is great and by noon she would call me a fucking hypocrite and ignore me all day.

*she became absolutely shredded. She had a very nice toned body within 6 weeks of her starting her first cycle. This transitioned into her going to the gym a lot more often becuase she liked the attention she was getting when she was there.

massive depressive metal states. We were going out for dinner after the gym and I dropped her off so she could shower and get ready. I went home, came back and found her in her tub crying because *I'm a piece of shit. There was no reason for this logic, she just got extremely depressed while in the shower.

Fits of rage, she became extremely aggressive with me. I'm not sure if it was just with me because she felt comfortable, but she became physically abusive from time to time. I'd say something stupid and she would hit me on my shoulder or stomach. It started hurting towards the end of her cycles because she would be experiencing her *lows.

*broke, Steroids are expensive. At one point she was spending about $150-$200 a month on the junk. I never actually saw the process myself because the guy who was injecting her was "another personal friend" who I never met. She would go over to his house to start her cycles then meet me after.
