Future Redeemed Early-Chapter 4: What is Glimmer's personality?

I disagree, and I think you expect too much. A main character in a side DLC which can be completed in 20-25 hours doesn’t need to have insane depth, especially compared to others in a series where other characters have an entire 80 hour game and actually are the main focus. Doesn’t feel fair. They are literally just Shulk and Rex’s kids and that’s their appeal, they don’t need a huge character arc or complex motives.

She’s blunt, prideful, irritable, and kind of insensitive kid. She shows a lot of sass like Mythra but has a caring side like when she thinks Rex is hurt. She detests blood and nasty things (like getting the guts for her instrument or when Matthew says gross shit like pissing in the snow) and shows interest in playing City songs with the Lute she found in the Black Mountains in the future. She’s… competent at cooking? She finds Rex and Matthew annoying but clearly shows a softer side for Nikol. She’s very standoffish and emotionally reserved but opens up over time. Once learning of Mobius natured and being saved, she realized how glad she was being given the freedom to choose

We don’t need story explanations for why she’s a healer, why her blade is an instrument, etc. She’s just a blander character than others in the huge series and that’s okay. I just think seeing a less developed female character and calling them “shoe in waifu-bait” is disingenuous.

You know more about Na’el because her backstory, motivations, and ideals are crucial for the story their trying to tell (I’m not sure if you finished it yet) She’s sitting next to a two protagonist of beloved games, one of the Trinity Core Processors, and the actual main character who is directly related to the protagonist of the actual game. Just give poor Glimmer some slack lol
