Akito's eyes grew wide with fear as the encroaching landslide rush towards Kanpai. He holstered his rifle ad began sprinting as quickly as he could towards the girl. She'd be absolutely crushed underneath the rubble if it struck her. The entire world slowed to a crawl, his breath came in short, jagged breaths as it tore through his throat. The muscles in his legs began to feel like they would give out as he pushed his body beyond the limit he had. Within seconds he reached her, outpacing the landslide and leaping through the air with his arms outstretched

"Kanpai look out!" He yelled as he felt his arms wrap around her, the force of his body pushing her out of the way and into safety. Finn managed to get onto his weapon and surf across the mud-sea. Akito's heart was beating like war drums, his breathing raspy and faint. He began coughing, unable to release her from his grasp. After several seconds he felt himself regain control, and he let go of her. They were okay, they had survived the final attack. As he sat, trying to recover from the pounding of his pulse, Finn walked over to him and stuck out his hand after a brief introduction. Akito took his hand and shook it firmly (well, as best he could considering the circumstances) before sitting down.

"Pleasure to meet you Finnegan. The name's Akito, first mate of the Fallen Pirates." He let out a sigh, patting his chest. "Well, living your whole life as a demon has its advantages. You're an incredibly skilled fighter, so the feeling is mutual." He turned his head and looked over to Kanpai, his brow furrowed with worry and his eyes examining her for any wounds. "What about you Kanpai, are you alright?"
