Gen one lower receiver fix. Ghk g5 (yes the stock broke off entirely. Yes that is several layers of gorilla tape. I will be buying a new lower next week)

Hello Reddit!

Been extremely busy lately so I've been quite slow in posting things from my escapades in Hong Kong. I have some more revolver pics to share today.

The Gun Heaven/WG S&W M36 2" model. The back up to your back up.

I know some people really love their snub nose revolvers. Myself? Not really, but I can appreciate them. My first real steel was actually a S&W M36 so this is quite a coincidence.

The boxes are quit plain, with the marking version boxes having the "Smith & Wesson" trademark on the topic whereas the basic model keeps GunHeaven's almost futuristic aesthetic (which I am a huge fan of).

There are 4 versions of this revolver currently in production, black or silver, marking or plain. I love the marking versions (because I'm a slave to good looking trademarks) but I have not seen them for sale yet. So I guess this is an exclusive spooky preview.

Inside the box is the gun wrapped in a sheet of bubble wrap and 6 shells.

On to the guns. As you'd expect from WinGun/Gun Heaven they are full metal and quite hefty. I don't know the specific material but it did not give an impression of cheapness.

Sorry sticklers for realism, but this replica holds 6 cartridges whereas the real one holds only 5. I guess this is better for skirmishing and means that the commonly available WinGun speed loaders with be compatible.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Function is...well... like a revolver. The chamber flips out with a push of the release, you slide in 6 shells, spin it for the cool factor, close it, and fire away! Then repeat all over again.

It's much more involved than reloading a traditional GBB which in my opinion makes it much more fun (and classy).

They function in both SA and DA, though I will say that on the trademarked versions Single action was incredibly difficult. My friend was unable to do it at all even though she handled DA fine. I even struggled a little bit with it.

But I assume that it would get easier with time as the black non-marking model was smooth as butter.

Just like the trigger. It's nice.

These guns lack hop up and thanks to CO2 shoot at about 380 feet per second. For you metric users, that is very fast. Accuracy is great though and it is loud as hell. If you wanted to skirmish it I would recommend buying the green gas refillable cartridge and using this for CQB.

Or backyard plinking.

It's a solid revolver. Definitely looks good and if you field allows it a classy sidearm.

The black one can be purchased right now from RWA for $90 while the silver one is $105.

All things considered, I'm still a big fan of my Webley, but some people like their revolvers concealable...and American.

Thanks for reading! If you have any questions drop a comment and I'll answer them as long as I'm still awake.
