I genuinely would like to know what pure silence sounds like

It's totally possible to live a normal life. The tone will become your new normal and it not as scary as it sounds.

As you go about your day and keep busy you'll have moments of not thinking about it. You won't register it. The tone is still there but you're not aware of it.

As time goes by you'll hear it less and less. At first it may be rare but you'll have moments of your day where you won't register it.

These moments get better and better. It's hard to register how long you've not thaught about it.

This all takes time. But gets so much better!

I used to hear it over absolutely everything but now it's tuned out when I'm gaming or out and about. I even had a moment when I was in total silence and I couldn't register it. I went looking for the sound and of course I noticed it again.

Keep yourself busy, surround yourself with loved ones. Time makes this so much better!
