Ah, the oft-repeated argument that people are just disappointed because Dany went mad, or the ending wasn’t what people were expecting eyeroll. If you want to talk objective, the first 3-5 seasons of this show were great, some of the best television ever. Since then, it’s been an increasingly sloppy mess of underdeveloped plot lines and lack of character development, culminating in a relatively horrendous final season (no, not because we didn’t get some arbitray ending that we wanted; rather, none of the climaxes were given enough development to be remotely convincing). Acting, sets, special effects, top notch. Storyline, dialogue, character development, started incredibly, ended badly.
