And actually those can be considered valid social pressures, fair enough. But it just seems to me that the original comment was trying to say that it's bad because it's based on social pressure, where in reality many things are also based on social pressure and expectations, so it's unfair to say that niqabs are forced on everyone purely based on social pressure, when unless it's being forced on by family, which is a different scenario, niqabs in other parts of the world are generally more of religious fashion trends
