Gf hates this when i do this.

Yeah, true, but I really didn't mind. It's just one of those like, mind numbingly boring tasks that I could just kinda space out doing. I didn't like, start out with the intention of doing it, either. We were just out of pepper once, and his mom brought home a giant zip lock baggy of the packets to use. At first, we'd just use the packets. But I was kinda bored one night and had cooked something that needed a decent amount of pepper and I got tired of having to open the little packets lol. Took me like, 15-20 minutes? Wasn't too long. And then it just kinda became a habit, I'd grab a few extra packets at a restaurant or something, then just fill the shaker back up when it got low. But like, I'm also not against just buying some pepper lol. If we run out and we have no more packets, either, then yes, I'll just buy some. It's no big deal. Idk. It's not something I do solely for the purpose of being frugal and is definitely something I can stop doing and not care.

I do however keep ketchup packets on hand at all times lol. I don't like ketchup usually, but I do like it on a hot dog, sometimes a burger. So it just doesn't make sense for me to keep a bottle of it on hand, since it rarely ever gets used. So I've got a small little baggy of ketchup packets for when I need it lol. I've also got some condiments saved from a few restaurants, I just really fucking like the Chick Fil A ranch and the chick Fil A sauce, and while I do know they now sell bottles of it, they're crazy expensive lol. So I'll always save any extra ones I have on the rare occasion I eat there. Same with McDonald's, their ranch is super good lol. Plus the little packets are super convenient for if you're dipping things. Don't have to dirty up a ramican or something.
