UPDATE: AITA for not allowing my kids to get baptized?

Unfortunately I don't think there was a chance for a positive outcome for you and you might want to be prepared that it might get worse. Your in-laws and husband facilitated the indoctrination of your children and have subsequently ostracized you. Your husband lied to you by omission because he thinks that his religion gives him moral superiority. Conversion is a huge part of that religion and judging others for not participating will definitely follow. It might be time to get some counciling to help if your children start judging you for being an atheist. If this story was turned around and your in-laws were atheists and you were a Christian, I don't think you would have been so savaged by the comments in your previous post. Im so sorry and I wish you well.
