Which school should I choose?

So firms with the same numerical cutoff from either de facto have a higher cutoff at Michigan.

My guy…if both schools have the same curve and the same median, how could this possibly be true? And you don’t even know what our cutoffs are, so how can you say this? Come on dude, I get you think NW is the better school, but you’re just saying things that don’t make any sense or just plainly aren’t true. You’ve even started to imply that Northwestern is stronger for NY/DC BL, and it’s just not. Even what you are saying about ties in Chicago I know isn’t true of Michigan from my own personal experience having done OCI for Chicago firms.

Detroit big law is literally <10 spots a year. So factor in people staying in Michigan and not doing BL, that’s probably 7-10% gap.

We aren’t going to get anywhere on this, so let’s leave it at that, but if you want definitive proof, just go ask attorneys.
