Got a tech question or want to discuss tech? Bi-Weekly /r/Technology Tech Support / General Discussion Thread

Hi guys, not really sure if this is the place for this question, but r/music didn't have a daily discussion post, so i decided to message here.

I've had my old iPod for about a decade and a half, but it recently stopped working.

I've been looking around trying to get a replacement, but most of the current iPod Touch devices are basically just an iPhone with a different name from all I have seen.

All I really want is a simple device that I can put a bunch of music on and listen to it, without all sorts of cameras and apps and all that, and ideally something that is fairly recent (maybe released within the last 5 years or so) so there is less chance of it breaking like my previous one did.

Any suggestions on what sort of device / brand / model I should try looking for? Cheers.
