The drop rate on the guns are fairly high. A couple of prohibters though, the main one being you can only drop an iron banner weapon after a win. This is very important. Additionally, there is no guarentee you will drop both. A couple months ago, I dropped SIX, yes, SIX Assault Rifles, while my buddy I played with the whole time dropped 4 Sniper rifles and 3 assault rifles. I have played a lot of Iron banner. I have never seen somebody on the losing team drop an Iron Banner weapon. Exotics? yep. Purple Engrams? You betcha. But Haven't seen an Iron Banner gun not once.
