They might not be flocking, but most girls that you would want to be with should be impressed by it. If the only thing that attracts a certain girl is muscles and looks, they are probably not someone you want to be with anyways. And you aren't going to win girls over with the computer science skills by themselves. You need confidence and a good personality. But the skills in computer science on top of those things will impress the right kind of girl.

My wife is pretty hot. Not just saying that because she is my wife. Most guys would rate her around an 8 probably. As far as looks go, im more around a 5 or 6 to be realistic. When we met, I had a lower paying job and was a 5-6 in looks but what attracted her was my confidence (approaching her and just talking and then asking her to go shoot some pool) and my personality (easy going, easy to get along with, and a good sense of humor). Once we started hanging out a little more, she found out I was into physics and computer science and fairly knowledgeable on the subjects. She is a tattooed hot chick that has no background in geeky stuff but this knowledge was something she said was attractive to her. I wasn't making money doing it.

I think this type of thing is attractive to girls because it shows that you have a brain and aren't dense. I think it also has to do with the fact that in todays time, computers and technology are all around us. Back in the day, a mans muscles or knowledge in fixing cars or woodworking is all that was needed to be able to take care of stuff around the house. But now being able to fix her computer or tablet or phone or internet or anything tech that she has is a valuable skill to have for fixing things around the house. Being tech savy is the new handyman equivalent for around the house men.

My wife is still the smoking hot tattooed chick that she was when I first met her and I know more than ever about computers and technology and its always a turn on when I can do things like set up a media server to throw her favorite shows to the tv in the living room or fix her laptop anytime she has an issue with it or write her a program on the computer that gives her random complements or just having the peace of mind that she will never have to worry about anything tech related giving her any problems because I can fix it.
