That's not true at all - if Nano suddenly spiked by 10x over the next few days there wouldn't be anywhere near as much vitriol, it's because Doge was created as a joke.

I'm not saying there aren't people who are hating on it because they missed the train, but there are a lot of people who realise that it makes a mockery of the crypto space.

/u/Elegant_Context3297 is talking about Dogecoin holding 'value' as if it's a currency that will be held on-to and used in the future, however the overwhelming majority of people who are 'investing' into Doge are viewing it as a way of profiting in fiat in the short term. Those are two completly opposing trains of thought.
