Guys seriously,

Exactly, Zoya is a 14 year old, i hate that no one is questioning him about it. I feel like Obie was definitely using Julien for his activist credibility and now Zoya came along and he thinks shes the better option. The speed their relationship is progressing at makes it seem like he picked her as the better accessory to his life rather than actually caring about getting to get to know her. Like in the birthday party episode he got upset bc he felt like she "completely changed", and was just ignoring that she was trying to defend herself against Julien, Monet and Luna who were outright attacking her. How much do you actually care about her if you can ignore people treating her like that? Also how do you know she's "completely changed", you've only known her for a month?

The fault could also lie with the writers bc I think they're trying to portray that Zoya is as mature as Julien so they can advance the story with Blair/Serena type fights. If they didn't have Zoya dating Julien's ex boyfriend to "even the score" the power imbalance between the sisters would be obvious and the fights would look really unfair. Like Blair and Serena were same age, same socioeconomic class so when they did awful things to each other it was just pure entertainment, but when Blair was trying to take down Jenny it seemed unfair and was uncomfortabe to watch.
