Should entry level postitions stop seeking more than 2 exams?

I don’t think I’d ever have broken into my first position without 3 exams. Even then I only was able to get an internship making 40K.

It made getting an Analyst I position at a competitor incredibly easy after 7 months in that internship. Then I was able to transfer to an Analyst II position after a year in the Analyst I position and 4 exams.

I had to take 3 exams to get my foot in the door due to not being competitive on paper. Went with Health because I had a few connections in the healthcare industry. Do I wish I were in P&C over health? Yes, but at the end of the day I’m in a good industry and being paid quite well after being paid peanuts in that internship.
