First of all it will cause traffic back ups on all north/south arteries from the traffic backup on hw10.

Second all the hw10 buses will now be useless due to the traffic caused by the lane removals to accommodate the lrt.

Third lrt system will solve nothing that the 19 series buses already.

Fourth it will not only affect north/south arteries...it will cause major delays on all the roads that travel East/west that have to cross hw10. Every light will now have to cycle between allowing for straight through traffic, turning traffic, pedestrians , Lrt .....

Please look into what the Edmonton Lrt has been like. It's been compete chaos for everyone PERIOD. Delays of up to 30-40mins for what used to be 5min travel times.

Crombie did mention in an interview a couple months ago that they will be looking into what Edmonton did wrong so that doesn't happen here. But what she never acknowledged was the only problem was the lrt being built in the first place.

The only two possible reasons the lrt is even being proposed must either be ....that crombie is trying to create an impression that Mississauga is a "world class city" that is a equipped with an Lrt.

Or she will be receiving some type of monetary compensation from the receiver of the contract.

Think of how many buses 'even electric buses' that this money could go towards.

Instead this Lrt will just burn more money then it pulls in and will cause more traffic delays then it will solve. It's not rapid transit by any means.

It's one of the most retarded proposals even out forward.
