The ship came around. We could see on the holo display, of the vessel. It was old, ugly, made back when space travel was still in its infancy. It was some old pre-warp era tub. The thing snailed it’s way into our system about 3 days ago during that time the higher ups scanned it with the whole nine yards. It was cold, lifeless, but the thing had an old school fusion engine, dangerous and notoriously unstable. So for safety we have to board it with some science types and make sure the core is dead or shut it down safely before it get any closer to the colony….we should be boarding shortly. -Corporal Erik Goffer Signing off. This damn thing is spooky as hell. I’ve been on old derelicts where the crew when warp crazy or some other shit like mutiny but this, this is some spooky shit. No bodies but what looks like old school blaster marks and big burn spots like something was disintegrated all over. These old ships always look like some bad horror vid. Hanging wires cold metal. Ya i’m probs not sleeping for a month. The science boys found a cryo pod that was still closed. We managed to dethaw the display window the poor bastard was like a freezer burnt steak. On top of that more burns and blaster marks its like they had a minor war on this ship. With who or what is still unknown. Those burn marks are what gets me they look like a human size silhouette and it's like they melted into ash or something or flash burned the the floor. We are almost to the core science boys are say it is probably dead but no knowing till we get there...damn old ship keeps making creaks and groans, I know it’s just the metal warping and old pipes shifting but fuck it it doesn't sound like something is moving around in here. Now we just have to go the command deck and make sure everything is set for the engineer's to tow this tub into a spaceport for a further look….ok ya fuck this the command deck is a mess old frozen bodies all over some of them cut in half or bits, blaster marks all over and more of those damn black burns. Fuck the faces of the bodies the cold kept them frozen in place a look of battle shock and fear. Luckily the cold kept them from rotting bad so no smell...these cuts were made with a lazer blade. But lazer blades have only been around for about 50 years this is some tub from pre warp times like 4oo years back and these poor bastards got sliced up a long time ago the scan prove it the cells have been dead for about 200 years.
