Helotes using its entire police shift (both cops) to pull over all people driving through their adjoining development of 'Beverly Hills'. KENS5 is apparently on scene

“Residents of Beverly Hills Subdivision in the City of Helotes have expressed concern for a growing number of vehicles from outside of Helotes city limits using residential streets to travel from one arterial roadway to another, or, to travel to a destination outside of Helotes.

The face that you can’t use these streets to drive outside of Helotes seems extremely agoraphobic and silly even if you weren’t concerns about people using the street to travel outside to Helotes. Like these precious streets are only for the sacred Beverly Hills neighborhood travel. Typical rich neighborhood bullshit of being overly protective of public roads. I guess one could make the argument that since the roads in Helotes that means they were paid with the incomes taxes of Helotes residents and I should know this but I would think that there are some state funds that also get are used to pay for these roads and will force me to research how private roads are able to earn this designation and enforce it.

The increased traffic from Davis Ranch, adjacent to Beverly Hills, is creating a hazard threatening the safety of motorists and pedestrians within the subdivision. It is also causing unnecessary destruction of the streets that are not designed for such increased traffic. The streets in Beverly Hills are not built for such traffic, and the number of vehicles utilizing the streets are contributing to the rapid damage of the surface of these streets.

Okay this seems ridiculously sensitive that the roads are not designed to take this type of traffic or weight but in reality seems either like a lie and/or poor planning if they are designed to deal with this traffic but it sounds more like language that devised to keep outsiders off their roads. Definitely some xenophobic type shit.

I haven’t seen the map of the roads but just seems super uppity and kinda pisses me off since there are soooooo many roads that are in need of being repaired in San Antonio.

I get it if you make your money by working your ass off and are trying to get out of the hood because you want a better life for yourself but that’s different that stay off my roads if you’re using them to go to another neighborhood type shit. But also there are a lot of people who are just born into wealth and think they are better than others and think they can enforce this type of behavior because of their attitudes.

If it’s a neighborhood with kids playing and people are being reckless and speeding and breaking laws or having street races, or are booming radios super loud at night, or are being crime into their neighbors but it simply sounds like a traffic fear. Amazing.
