He's right. This is the picture that should be getting posted.

"The Crushing of Light"

The crushing of light is really an impossible thing Light travels too quickly for lies to catch it It emerges in places unexpected It fills hearts without notice It sets free the minds of captors and captives

(I wrote the above poem on the tenth anniversary - 1999 - of Tianenman Square, hoping and praying survivors were still going to be able to be free and tell what happened.

At the time that it happened in 1989, it was a very great disappointment that President Bush (41) did not lift a hand - if I remember correctly, the people who were starting to move factories and investments over there were freaking out and did not want the President to intervene but rather, not do anything to make the PRC upset with us.

Meanwhile, many of the students and other protestors were trying desperately to get word to anyone - many via faxes to the US to whatever fax numbers they could find.

Initial reports that I recall reading at the time were that the PRC leaders were frustrated with the the forces they initially sent to quell the protests who were reluctant to exert deadly force . . . so, another group was used and they were pumped up with some kind of adrenaline concoction and sent into Tianenman Square . . . it was horrific and nightmarish and whatever happened with those guys . . . maybe they had to be eliminated as well?

In later years, what about that drug used to make the soldiers capable of mindless killing at Tianenman Square? Is that the same drug given to ISIS fighters to make them not need to or care about eating or sleeping?)
