You are confusing common sense legislation with anti gun. These are separate discussions. The fact you believe those in favor of better regulation and laws are the same as full anti gun shows how disingenuous your views are. You fail to understand the difference willfully.

Your initial question is exactly the point. The background check as it is now did not stop this. That’s the entire point of why everyone is asking for common sense laws and regulations. That question is what proponents are trying to answer.

If you are trying to imply that because a murder law didn’t work then no law would work, you are saying there should be no laws? Are you calling for anarchy?

There are lots of countries that have strict laws on guns but not the same for knives and sticks. I would challenge you to back up the claim that the same would happen for knives or sticks.
