Honestly I’ve been made fun of for my race by black people than any other race. Are you gonna tell me that calling a brown person “towel head” or “terrorist” does not carry the same weight because I’m not black or because the person that called me has not had systemic power I’m history? It doesn’t matter who called me that, white or black, it’s still racist af regardless. If people want equality then hold everyone to the same standard. Racism = racism no matter the situation. I get what you’re saying about the history of oppression but that’s more so institutionalized racism/prejudice. If one party says something disparaging about another based on race, that is by definition racism.
