Your "islamic democracy" Pakistan was ruled by dictators and religious zealots like zia-ul-haq for most of its history. The newly formed Bangladesh had to de-emphasise secularism and make islam the state religion. And I hope you don't need to be reminded of iran.

I am not saying we are any better than them. What has happened to Indian society is an example of what religion does to people. It makes sane people behave like cannibals. Religion is cancer.

Take a good hard look at the unmitigated mess that the Hindu society is today. There's absolutely no analogy.

No where in the world has a minority community ruled almost an entire subcontinent for hundreds of years. Why try to find a analogy? You just have to accept that right wingers have got all they need to brainwash the masses.
