We've had campers fly in on helicopters, had a counselor get lost in the woods at 2am, and had one camper bring not just one but two fleshlights to camp. But the craziest thing I've seen is a kid we'll call J.

J would walk around with a replica Harry Potter wand casting spells at people. I think he Avada Kadava'd me like 8 times one summer. Because I made him participate in evening activities. That's not even the strangest thing about J. The strangest thing about J was that he had this ability to masturbate anywhere at anytime. He would just tuck his knees to his chest, pull his shirt over his knees, and pull his arms inside his shirt. You'd ask him what he was doing and he'd say that he's cold while having vinegar strokes on his face. It didn't matter if he was sitting on the water front or watching the camps theatre production. He probably got kicked out of every single department on camp except magic, he was actually good at magic and never beat it in there or during the magic shows. The worst part is his parents knew about it all but never did anything to correct the behavior. They just thought it was natural for a teenage boy. I feel bad for the kid.

I'm senior staff at the camp I work at and have a ton of wierd stories. J's just always sticks out the most.
