Home Setup - not very fancy, but comfortable

YouTube content yes, Streaming no due to slow upstream. YouTube hasn't been too popular though, becausee I uploaded stuff I like and not in English. One reason why I have this equipment is partly because I produce some music in my free time during summmer with FLStudio and Cubase.

The main reason, however, is a pretty long story, so it probably will need a TL;DR. Skip to now if not interested in full story.

I've always been a Headset User. However, I wanted to have headsets that sound pretty decent (I really fancy good audio quality) and have a fairly high quality microphone. I had many headsets in my journey to what I have now. All of them broke within a year. I do not treat my equipment badly, in fact, I love every single piece of hardware I own. But in spite, all these headsets began to malfunction, loose contacts on the audio jacks, breaking headset frames, dying loudspeakers.

Note: I didn't want to spend lots of money so most headsets were around 50€ - 150€. However, that should be enough to make a lasting product.

I was tired of it. Back then, I didn't really know what to do. So I asked my brother, who is a professional audio producer.

He had leftover audio equipment and went abroad shortly after, so I could initally get the TerraTec PhaseX24 FW with the sE Electronics sE2000 Microphone. The PhaseX24 FW was in heavy use (6 years of audio production prior to me using it) so it reached the end of it's lifecycle within a year as well.

I replaced it with the Focusrite 2i4 due to good reviews and here I'm now. I have a microphone that's not gonna break this easily, I have my Beyerdynamic DT770s for almost 4 years now, no signs of malfunctioning whatsoever.

Also, everyone is happy about my voice quality, and I can produce video (if my internet allowss it)/audio content to my hearts desire :)

TL;DR main reason: got tired of headsets that constantly break no matter how you treat them, so I upgraded.
