Jim, Pam, and Karen are all a bit wishy-washy in S3 imo. Pam won't speak up about her feelings, Jim won't deal with his, and Karen won't admit that Jim is clearly not very invested in their relationship. Of course they all have their reasons for acting like this, but the lack of honesty with themselves and each other creates an unfortunate situation where no one wins.

I like Karen and Jim, but even without the love triangle, I doubt they'd have worked out. Karen was too down-to-earth for Jim imo (she found his pranks childish and was irritated by his passiveness). Some people here are saying that she gave Jim a push to reach his potential, which is true, but it's an uneven relationship if she's the one calling him out all the time. Love Karen but she wouldn't have been happy with Jim.

As for Jim, you can't really blame him for trying to move on after Pam outright rejects him, but it's true that he led Karen on after a while. He did end things as soon as he realised it definitely wasn't going to work, but he should've reached that conclusion much earlier.

Also this is random, but am I the only person who lowkey thinks Karen looks like Gwyneth Paltrow? Look at her expression in that photo loll.
