Jim and many guys’ behavior from the late 20th century and early aughts could be called bullying by today’s standards. Not saying it’s right but it was pretty normalized at the time.

I remember I tripped and fell down a flight of stairs in middle school, really hurt myself, and then got called a “f*ggot” for tripping and falling down the stairs. Then everyone laughed at me as the kid who called me that, mounted me, and pretended to fuck me.

Mind you, I’m not gay. But that incident still scarred me. Ohh and the kid who did that to me turned out to be gay… so then I had to go through more shit for hating a kid who likely hated himself.
