What were you doing when the twin towers fell?

I was on a coach bus going over the Throgs Neck bridge with my 6th grade class going on a two-night outdoor ed. trip 3 hours upstate from where we lived on Long Island. Someone heard about it on the radio and started telling everyone but no one believed him. Once we got to the location the teachers sat us down and told us what happened. By that time all the bridges and tunnels were closed so we couldn’t get home. A parent chartered a new bus for us and had to go all the way to the other end of Long Island and take the ferry across to get home. We didn’t get back until about midnight. It was pretty terrifying. I had nightmares about terrorists for a long time after that.
