There is a dirt road north of the North Rim Grand Canyon gate, the gate where they want 25.00 to pass through. We took that dirt road many years ago, drove a few miles into dispersed camping land. We were out there a week and saw no one.
One morning, a little camper truck drives through on the road and stopped to ask for directions.
"So sorry to intrude!" they said and being as I had just puffed a fatty that would make Snoop blush, I told them "Ha! You friends are like us! How could you intrude on your own kind?"
They stayed for a bit and we talked about we had explored around us, other sites over looking the North Rim (the best rim), how far the road went, etc.
The point I guess, when you come across some one who is in the same place as you, a place well off the beaten path, you already have so much in common, how could you not be friends?
I hope vandwellers are like that. All of you have so much in common that sharing and friendship should come quickly.
Except those Sprinter people. Fuck them.../s <----
