I do understand. I do put a great deal of focus and understanding on all aspects of our relationship. I am really good, and I'm not just bragging, I always try to bring my best self in a relationship. This is something I have had to learn the hard way and I certainly wasn't always great about this.

Part of me thinks that I put a great deal of enthusiasm and effort into things and my partner gets used to being desired despite what she is bringing to the table. She doesn't have to work very hard and I'm still very interested, so why try very hard. I think it's maybe laziness that develops because why not. If I still am coming on to her every night we are together no matter what, why work at it. What do you think?
