How do I find meaning in my boring degree?

Ok, my job is different than engineering but it's also boring and hard and it pays me a lot of money. Here's my advice.

Make sure you work in a field where you feel good about the work you do. I work in medical research for rare genetic disorders. I feel good about what I do for the world.

Make sure you like your boss and your coworkers. Boss is more important. I thought I hated my job, but I actually hated my boss.

If you lean introverted, find a work from home job. I've been WFH for 10 years and I love it. I don't even remember how to drive a car.

Use all that money to buy some excitement and fun. Any job will be boring eventually, but if you have those other pieces, it's a good life.
