It's also a weird grey area cus she didn't say anything directly insulting or have malice. She didn't directly call it a shoebox but she compared to to another place that she considered a shoebox . It's just that when I questioned her on it and I just couldn't believe she then argued with me over my own place's sq feet...... It's really sad because I really value her friendship but I find that often after meeting up, things just don't sit right to me. Like she just has a way of being a bit harsh when she talks to people that kinda erodes a cozy feeling. But it's not intentional. I guess I'm ranting to just say.... I feel validated that there's others out there who've had similar experiences (with minor things weighing it down).
