the groups i follow aren't as active on vlive/lives in general anymore (maybe during birthdays and that's it) so i don't feel as impacted BUT it's interesting to think of newer groups trying to build their fanbase and not having a platform that's already established + already so efficient when it comes to subbing etc.

imo thinking of got7, intl viewership is really affected when there's no available subs offered by the company or if there's no (efficient) way for a fan to contribute to subs

also most idols don't leave their IG lives for replay and i don't think tiktok live even has a replay feature? so it really depends on fans to screen record and sub it themselves which is so much more unnecessary work
