How reliable is QuickFix?

BE CAREFUL TO GET THE RIGHT VERSION

6 months ago I almost didn't get a job using Quick Fix (5.7.1? I forget the batch version). I'm in California and tests done in this state check for uric acid in the sample. No uric acid = instant fail. I found this out the hard way. I bought quick fix from my local smoke shop and guy swearer by it, said it was guaranteed to pass.

I took the test a local diagnostic center, they didn't frisk me so it was easy to bring in and keep at the right temp. A week later I got a call for the testing place saying they had a problem with my sample. The guy grilled me asking if was my pee and swore it was, the guy asked if was on any prescriptions or antibiotics recently and I lied and said I was on antibiotics. He specificity asked me if was Cipro (on of the strongest antibiotics out there) and I again lied and said yes. He told me I'd have to wait 2 weeks and take the test again.

I then called quick fix's customer service and told them what happened and they immediately asked if I had the Canadian version of the product which contains a vial of uric acid. They said California and I think 4 other states all test for this so you need to buy the Canadian version. The kicker was that box for the Canadian version and the American version (sans uric acid) are in identical boxes, the only way to find out what version you have is to open the box and look for a Canadian flag on the instructions. I went back to smoke shop and the guy had no idea about uric acid being needed.

I still needed to pass a 10 panel drug test in a week so I bought some Serious Monkey Bizz synthetic urine. It was advertised as having uric acid so it was my only hope. I took the test again and this time I passed with flying colors and got this pot head got a job.

There's a new version of quick fix v6.1 and it's supposed to have uric acid in it now. I'd recommend the Monkey Bizz stuff since I know it works, but if you only have Quick Fix available make sure you get version 6.1. Also before you test call Quick Fix's customer service and they will verify that the product is legit (I guess they had a counterfeit problem). Also they've had known bad batches in the past and they'll check your serial number to make sure you have a good batch and that it's not expired (I think it has a 1 or 2 year shelf life but smoke shops don't care).

Again, I got burned by Quick fix so I recommend Monkey Bizz.
