Just curious, what amount would be considered suspect for distribution? I assume it would depend on substance, just like illegal drugs (hopefully)...because I've wanted to stock up several times on substances before they get banned, but have never ordered more than 1 oz of any substance for various reasons. Would they look at 1 gram of 25E-NBOMe the same as 1 gram of a-PHP? Because they would both be considered schedule 1 analogues.
Also, is it a bad call to order any amount of substance right before it gets banned? Because my senior year of high school, I had a friend ordered an unknown amount of 2C-E (never asked him about it, I assume quite a bit) one month before it was banned in the United States. Now get this: box showed up empty, so he figured someone recognized the "2C-E" and snagged it. Ordered again, box showed up with two DEA agents. Didn't hear from him again until this January (he would love this subreddit and reddit in general, should I get an AMA set up?? Your call..)
The first thing he said when drugs were brought up again is "I guess I can see why phenethylamines are banned (referring to either a report or article he read about Bromo-DragonFLY being passed off as 2C-x). But if I find out 4-AcO-DMT is banned, I'm guess I'm done. Because if tryptamines are deemed too unsafe, the DEA has lost my trust" (I assumed he thought [and I agree as well unless someone can prove me otherwise]) Fortunately for us all, he's not done.
P.S. Before anyone asks why he trusted the DEA, he got out of prison time by not being charged federally and was able to complete a drug rehab program (mandatory to do if he failed a test, he didn't, but chose to go anyway) and volunteer at a teen drug rehab facility 3 days a week for 24 months.
As far as I know, he never missed a single day and was even let go from working there 3 months early, but still continues to volunteer. He had never gotten in trouble, at least not for distributing drugs, and the 2C-E was ordered domestically from the same state (a set up, obviously with the TBI drug task force working with the DEA)
