I pulled the trigger on a size 34 non wash Oni 612IDID, the top block is HUGE on me. I'm wondering if it will shrink enough to a nice fit.

I tried to include a picture of my most comfortable pair of pants right now though it's not denim. I also included both pairs overlayed on each other to hopefully give someone a better idea of what I'm talking about. The difference in the leg is anywhere from 1" to 1.5" flat.

37" waist 34" waist

On the note of measuring thighs, are you supposed to measure from the bottom of where the front and back seam meet or the end of the material where it folds?

After a hot soak or two, will the denim's fit become similar to the chambray pair or will I be left with a baggy mess? Denimio seems to think it will be alright, but it just looks so huge in the top block, the lower legs are fine to me. What's throwing me off is the weight and thickness of denim is obviously more than that of chambray material so I don't really know how to compensate that in measurements in addition to accounting for shrinkage. It's giving me a headache. Do I keep and soak, or exchange for a smaller size perhaps?
