I am contemplating on whether I should keep the USDG Slight Fits or return it and try NF Left Hand Twills "SuperSkinnyGuys."
The only issue I have with the Slight Fits is that it is rather loose (as shown in pics) on the top block/thigh section. Its fairly baggy around that section; generally the baggiest I wear for pants (in terms thigh measurements) is 10.75. I find the bagginess/excess fabric a little to unflattering. 10.5 is typically slim for me whereas 10.25 is skinny/tight. Thigh measurements for this pants is 11 inches. Other than that, it fits me perfectly the way I want in terms of below the knees and I love the stacks on this created by the long inseam.
Note: I tried a size down before and it was too tight for me as in skin tight everywhere.
Here is an USDG "Narrow Fit" Sz 29 for comparison (I returned it though and size down for a Sz 28)
Here is the Narrow Fit Sz 28 I ve been wearing these for over a month and a half. Fit wise, it is the opposite of the Slight Fits Sz 30. The waist was tight/top block was restrictive (to which it has been stretched out and now fits perfect and comfortably.) Thighs section is perfect as it lacked the excess fabric like the Slights. Unlike the Slights, below the knees section the Narrows are slightly less tapered than the Slight. Also, I think its because of the slight wideness on the knees and being worn in, the knee section have this weird bulge creating these weird kneebags.
Here is a another purchase I made: Naked and Famous "SuperSkinny Guy" Black Power Stretch Sz 30 . Fit on this is perfect; its just a tad slimmer than the USDG Slight Fits and fits better on the thighs. First time, I put these on, there was not tightness or restrictiveness on the top block unlike the USDGs. But the downsides is that it lacks a long inseam and thus I am unable to achieve stacks on par with USDG Narrows/Slights. I am keeping this pants because of how comfortable it fits on me; I never would thought the 5% Stretch would be this comfortable. It kinda feels like I am wearing yoga pants. Now I know why girls like to wear those black yoga pants over jeans.
So if I returned the USDG Slight Fits, I would probably get NF SSG Left Hand Twills in its place. What do you think r/rawdenim? Do I keep it or return it for NF SSG?
