User in r/rainbow6 complains about an unfair ban. Ubisoft employee shows up to lay out the truth.

This is slightly off topic but i'm just venting slightly about this issue of controlling content/comments users can have make or use. I'm really not liking this push to ban people who say things people don't like i/e cuss words in this post. I have parents and one grandma still so I have plenty of people who can tell me how to act or talk. I don't need a company who I gave money to so I can play their videogame to also try to do it. What happened to the simple mute/squelch feature? If you don't like someone just ignore them. You have a right to be offended but you don't really have a right for anyone to care or to demand retribution. I certainly don't want a video game company to dictate how their customers act. I'm also really against how much power these game companies are giving themselves with their games. Forced online play only so you can't play offline which means when the servers go you're fucked. Damn DLC or day one content you need to purchase to get the entire game. Or the fact that you aren't purchasing the game, only a license to play of which they reserve the right to alter the contract in any way at any time without letting you know. That's some serious power right there.
