If you tested for it via blood, anywhere in the last 9-10 years, you would have known about it by now. your body would have antibodies for it. BUT, you never know..I would take another look at husband by requesting him to get tested. if he has it then he may be the source. I would ask more questions if I were you..

Another thing to note.. you don’t have to sleep with someone to get HSV1. A simple kiss/make out sesh while someone is virally shedding/on a outbreak is just enough to transmit. Keep that in mind in case maybe, you or husband might of kissed someone close to the lip area..?? You can’t get it by drinking from someone else’s cup or using the same toothbrush.. it’s a 100% skin to skin contact type of thing.
